FRP (Fibreglass-Reinforced Polyester) skylight panels, formally known as glass-fiber-reinforced polyester skylight panels, are a type of daylighting product manufactured through mechanized continuous molding. They are made from alkali-free glass fibers, reinforced polyester resin, imported high-performance anti‑aging films (or gels), and various additives. With their smooth surface, lightweight yet high strength, excellent light transmission, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, ease of installation, and a service life of 15 to 20 years, these skylight panels are highly favored by users. They are widely employed in applications requiring daylighting and long-term durability, such as lighting for plant and animal greenhouses, roofing and wall glazing in industrial facilities and residential buildings, and as cover plates for solar water heaters.
